- War Memorial Opening, North Bondi RSL
Sunday 27th November saw North Bondi RSL donate a new War Memorial to the communities of North Bondi and Bondi Beach to recognise the 70th anniversary of the end of the Siege of Tobruk. Carpet Hire was onsite at 4am working to a tight deadline to provide the event with over 30m of plush red carpet as well as 50 brass bollards and a mix of red and black ropes to provide the event with the grandeur that it deserved.
- Hitachi Logo Carpet
When Hitachi contacted Carpet Hire with the unusual request of a 6m long customised logo carpet we knew exactly how to provide it. Using our black and white poly carpet together with a custom made stencil, we were able to cut each letter out individually and attach them into the carpet. The overall look was outstanding and made for a very happy client!
- Kardashian’s Handbag Launch, Hugo’s Nightclub
2nd November saw Carpet Hire’s involvement in the launch of Kim and Khloe Kardashian’s new handbag range at Kings Cross nightclub, Hugo’s. We were called in to carpet over 25 stairs at the entrance to Hugo’s in our black poly as well as providing chrome bollards and black ropes. A 20m black carpet runner was also provided for everyone to make their way down on the way to the launch. The event was a huge hit with countless celebrities turning up to show their support for the Kardashian’s.
- Sony Wharf4Ward Charity Event, Finger Wharf
When Eventify asked CarpetHire to provide 300sqm of plush blue carpet for Sony’s Wharf4Ward charity event we happily obliged. A 150m blue carpet runner was laid along Finger Wharf for guests to stroll down on their way to the event. With a turnout of over 800 people a whopping $550,000 was raised to build specialised youth cancer wards across Australia.
- Zoofari Black & White Lemur Ball, Taronga Zoo
CarpetHire was called in to provide Taronga Zoo with a black and white striped carpet for their fundraising ball in November. We created a carpet runner using black and white expo carpet in alternating colours to mimic the tail of a Lemur. The event helped raise an enormous $506,000 to be put towards Lemur conservation projects as well as a world class exhibit and a special breeding facility at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
- The Darling Hotel Grand Opening, The Star
Carpet Hire, in conjunction with DG3 was pleased to be asked to be a part of The Darling Hotel’s Grand Opening at The Star. Carpet Hire laid 300 square metres of red and grey carpet for this special event, and were also requested to create a custom made circular logo carpet for The Darling. Media walls, as well as brass bollards and ropes were also supplied to give the event that A-list feeling.
- Puss In Boots Movie Premiere, Hoyts Entertainment Quarter
The Australian premiere of new movie, Puss in Boots, was held at Hoyts EQ last month and CarpetHire.com was on hand to make the event a success. Rolling out a total of 400sqm of our most vibrant expo carpet in both yellow and red for stars Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek to walk down, as well as providing the media wall was no easy task, but in true Carpet Hire style, we pulled it off without a problem!
